Thierry Delmarcelle is President of Monitor China. He currently leads Monitor's Chinese client practice. He has fifteen years of management consulting experience, including eleven years in Greater China. Based in Beijing, Thierry works with Government organizations, Chinese state-owned or private enterprises, and multi-national companies entering or operating in China.

Thierry serves clients on a variety of topics including regional economic development of cities and regions, sustainable industrial and social development, eco-cities, corporate and competitive strategy, marketing, innovation, globalization (winning overseas), organization design, and operations improvement. Thierry works across various industries which include real estate, telecoms, high technology, consumer goods, media, and retail.

Thierry grew up in Brussels, Belgium, where he became an engineer in nuclear physics. He holds a PhD in Applied Physics from Stanford University.
