| Introduction

Bhaskar Chakravorti leads Monitor's practice in advising clients on making choices in some of their riskiest and most complex strategic issues through the practical applications of game theory.  Such issues include decisions relating to innovation, competition, alliances/M&A, entry into new markets and segments, corporate strategy issues and shaping the evolution of industries and markets.  He advises clients in a range of industries from telecommunications and technology to pharma-ceuticals and consumer products and has pioneered Monitor's intellect-ual property in this area.  Bhaskar has written extensively in the leading academic journals and books and the media, including The New York Times, Financial Times and the Wall Street Journal Europe, and has been quoted on issues relating to technology and globalization in the press, in magazines such as BusinessWeek and Fortune.  His book "The Slow Pace of Fast Change: Bringing Innovations to Market in a Connected World" (Harvard Business School Press) is forthcoming.
